A Typical Competition

There is no typical competition day. Due to the flexible nature of the TEAMS Competition, the actual events of the day vary by host site, allowing each competition to be unique and each host to add their own special touches. The only constant is the actual two part competition time frame and rules, which are uniform for all locations nationally and internationally. "I really enjoyed JETS and have participated for the past couple of years. I'm interested in studying engineering in college and TEAMS gives you a feel for what it's like to solve real world engineering problems. We study physics, calculus, math and stuff in high school and it's hard to get a feel for engineering. TEAMS problems test your problems solving skills and made me realize that engineering is something I'd be interested in doing. I enjoyed the challenge of applying the knowledge I have."
