Guidelines: Design Review and Judging Process

General Information | Problem Statement | Design Review and Judging Process | Resources

A panel of judges will use the scoring rubrics below to score the two parts of the submissions: Part I - Scavenger Hunt and Part II - Final Report on Device Design, Construction and Testing. A design review board of judges will make the final decision and select the semi-finalists at a roundtable. Judges are professionals in a variety of engineering disciplines and experts in disability workplace issues. All judges' decisions are final.

The scores are broken down as follows:
  • Excellent: 8-10 points
  • Good: 5-7 points
  • Fair: 2-4 points
  • Unacceptable: 0-1 points
