JETS Spotlight

In 2003 the Center for Educational Outreach (CEO) was established by the Whiting School of Engineering (WSE) to develop educational and outreach programs directed towards underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). CEO's focus is to serve the entire Engineering School, the University, and the broader educational community as a resource to develop and tailor engineering education and outreach programs to encourage all students from Kindergarten through Graduate (K – G) school to pursue STEM studies and careers. The broader educational community includes K-12 schools, community colleges, four-year institutions including historically African American, Native American and Hispanic serving colleges and universities.
