JETS Spotlight

The IEEE-USA Precollege Education Committee (PEC) announces the new Precollege Teacher Grant Program, which awards small grants to teachers to sponsor innovation and creativity in or out of the classroom. These grants will be made available starting January 2006 and are meant to offer small amounts of funding (up to a maximum of $1,500) for novel ideas to introduce engineering to students. If you are or know of a precollege science or math teacher, we encourage you to apply for a grant. Further details as well the grant application will be available in December 2005 on the PEC website.
