The College has developed an innovative program known as the "Spiral Curriculum." This program is for all engineering majors and meets the call for a new paradigm in engineering education, as recommended by the National Academy of Engineering. The spiral curriculum is based on the following concepts:

Engages students in engineering from the beginning of their studies

Emphasizes the development of students as emerging professionals with a knowledge base and capability for life-long learning

Makes the study of engineering more fulfilling

Provides students with significant multidisciplinary experiences allowing them to effectively work in teams composed of students from various disciplines

Enhances student learning through hands-on activities

Integrates curricular elements to allow students to appreciate the holistic nature of their academic experience

The College's graduates are employed by high-tech companies, such as Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, IBM, General Electric, Electric Boat, Pitney Bowes, Trumpf, Pratt & Whitney, and many others.
