May 2005, Issue #40
From the Editor
It's the end of the year and this is the last issue of the Pre-Engineering Times until the Fall 2005 school year. I hope everyone has a fun filled and rewarding summer. If you are going to an engineering camp this summer, we would love to hear about it. Feel free to drop us a note about your experience and we’ll send you a free T-shirt!
Next year, we are going to do things a bit different. We intend to cover more Engineering Technology programs and hope to portray the differences between engineering and engineering technology each month. Check out our upcoming calendar at /newsletter/index.cfm to get a quick preview of the highlights of next year. Don't get left behind! Knowledge is power and the more you know, the more opportunities you will have.
This month our feature is Nuclear engineering. This issue also provides several links for Nuclear engineering exploration and our cool engineer of the month is a Nuclear engineer.
If you know of students, educators or engineers that would be interested in this kind of information please forward this newsletter and encourage them to subscribe.
It's been a fun year and I hope to hear about your summer engineering experiences soon,
Celeste Baine (celbaine@engineeringedu.com)
