This month the Engineering Pathway features online animations that can help students visualize how nanotechnologies are used by engineers in the fight against cancer. Information provided with these animations discusses how nanotechnology techniques are being used in the detection of tumors and in the selective treatment of cancer. The site is from the National Cancer Institute's Alliance for Nanotechnology in Cancer research.

These resources are brought to you by the new Engineering Pathway, a part of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL). The free portal provides free high-quality teaching and learning resources in applied science and math, engineering, computer science/information technology and engineering technology for use by K-12 and university educators. The Engineering Pathway brings together quality engineering education materials from all over the internet allowing teachers to search all of these documents in a single location.
