March 2005, Issue #38
From the Editor
Welcome to the March issue of the Pre-Engineering Times! It's hard to believe it's already almost Spring! I hope all of you had an excellent Engineer's Week last month and that your celebration is still going. It's a great time to be an engineer. After all, we make good money, are usually good looking and according to Geek Rapper Rajeev Bajaj, people "respect my mind". In case you don't recognize that lyric, it's straight off of the new hit release called Geek Rhythms. It's music for engineers and other technology infused people that enjoy making their brain cells occasionally reverse direction.
We are on the home stretch for this school year so gear-up, do your homework, study for every test, get involved in a fun engineering or robotics club, tour a college of engineering, keep reading the pre-engineering times and summer will be here before you know it.
This month our feature is electrical/electronic engineering and contains useful links that will help you bring electrical/electronic engineering into the classroom.
If you know of students, educators or engineers that would be interested in this kind of information please forward this newsletter and encourage them to subscribe.
So jump aboard and let's set sail,
Celeste Baine (celbaine@engineeringedu.com)
