JETS Spotlight — The Catholic University of America

CUA Engineering: Cutting-edge Research Driving Superb Education

CUA biomedical engineering combines my two passions — my love of medicine with my love of computers and video games.

And from my freshman year, I've worked with professionals at the National Rehabilitation Hospital — my first big step towards my career. Experiencing their work amplifies what they actually talk about; you live it and work with it. You learn hands-on.

Janine Nierva, biomedical engineering student

There is a high demand for talented engineers and computer scientists. At the Catholic University of America you will be inspired by an exciting and well-balanced undergraduate program designed to help you launch your career. We offer bachelor degrees in biomedical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering as well as computer science. Students can select among numerous concentrations and dual degree programs. Our programs emphasize development and design, and this focus is reflected in numerous laboratory courses, the freshman design and laboratory courses, and the senior design project. We offer accelerated joint bachelors/masters program as well. Contact us at cua-engineer@cua.edu for more information or visit our Web site at engineering.cua.edu.
