NEDC Round II entries are in, and the judges are evaluating them to select five teams to advance to finals in Washington, DC, February 15-17th. Engineering Pathway
This month the Engineering Pathway features an activity that provides the opportunity for students to learn about drafting and design engineering through designing and building a prototype tower. The Tower O' Power activity is an engineering project developed for grades 9-12 requiring several days of class time. Students use computer-aided design (CAD) to design a tower and manufacture the parts with a laser cutter.
