BEST Robotics

BEST Robotics—the second largest robotics competition in the U.S.—is a free program available to any middle, junior, or high school, whether public, private, or home school. It is an annual, six-week long fall program that in 2008 operates 32 sites ("hubs") with over 600 schools (and 11,000 students) participating. Cleverly disguised as a fun and exciting head-to-head, school vs. school competition, BEST is an ideal K-12 workforce development program that fosters the development of students' technological literacy skills, which are critical for a 21st Century workforce.
